1. Information about the collection of personal data
(1) Here, we will provide information about the collection of personaldata when using our website. Personal data is all datathat relates to you as an individual, such as your name, address, e-mail addresses anduser behavior.

(3) If you contact us by e-mail or using a contact form,we save the data you have shared (your e-mail address, where applicable your name and your phone number) in order to reply to your inquiry(legal basis is Art. 6(1)(1)(f) GDPR and, if your inquiry concerns the conclusion of a contract, also Art. 6(1)(1)(b) GDPR). Data that is accrued in this context is deletedonce storage is no longer necessary or, if there are legal retention requirements, the processing of this data islimited.

3. Collection of personal data upon visiting our website

(2) In addition to the previously listed data, cookies are also stored to your computer when using our website. Cookies are small text files that are saved on your hard drive and assigned to the browser you are using which are used by the party setting the cookie (in this case, us) to collect certain information. 4. Other functions and services of our website
(1) In addition to purely informational use of our website, we offer various services that you can use if you are interested. To do so, you generally have to enter additional personal data that we will use to perform the respective service, which is subject to the same data processing rules listed above.
(2) In some instances, we use external service providers to process your data. These service providers have been carefully selected and commissioned by us, are limited by our instructions and are audited regularly.
(3) Furthermore, we can transfer your personal data to third parties if a promotion, sweepstakes, conclusion of a contract or similar services are offered by us in conjunction with partners. 5. Use of our online store
(1) In order for you to place an order in our online store, it is necessary for us to set up a customer account for you, where we will provide data from your previous orders in order to simplify future orders. With regard to this, please contact your responsible customer representative. As part of the setup process, we take over data that is saved when processing earlier orders into your customer account.
(2) The legal basis for processing the data needed to execute your order is Art. 6(1)(1)(b) GDPR. In particular, we can also transfer your payment data to our house bank. You can have us delete all other data, including your user account, at any time by messaging the controller mentioned above, by your responsible customer representative or using the “Delete customer account” button under “My account”.
We can also process the data you have entered in order to inform you about interesting products from our portfolio or have e-mails with technical information sent to you.
(3) We are obligated by provisions of commercial and tax law to save your address, payment and order data for a period of ten years. However, after two years, we limit the processing of the data, meaning that your data is used only for compliance with our legal obligations, provided that you have not expressly consented to a different use.
(4) To prevent the unauthorized access to your personal data, particularly financial data, by third parties, the order process is encrypted using TLS technology.
(5) Note that we assess your user behavior for signs of unlawful use when accessing your customer account. For this assessment, we combine the data listed in § 3 with the data stored for your customer account, including your e-mail address and a unique ID. The legal basis for this is Art. 6(1)(1)(f) GDPR as well as Art. 6(1)(1)(A) GDPR, provided that you have consented to this kind of processing. Specifically, we use your data to create a user profile based on the following for the purpose of the assessment:
- The frequency of user activity
- The product pages visited
- Your search terms
- The duration of your visits
- Your remote IP
- Your customer number
- Your username and full name
- Your company
- Your last log-in
- Your last action date
- Number of logins
This information is used to track unusual user behavior.
6. Objection or revocation regarding the processing of your data
(1) If you have consented to the processing of your data, you can revoke this consent at any time. This revocation affects the permissibility of processing your personal data after you have communicated this to us.
(2) If the processing of your personal data is based on a weighing of interests, you can submit an objection to this processing. In particular, this is the case if processing is not necessary for the fulfillment of a contract with you, which is presented by us for the specific case in a subsequent description of the functions.
